How to write a press release

Below is a sample of an actual press release that went out for our company. It is a standard release and in Associated Press (AP) format. It is good as an example of a press release and a great reference. Mouse over the text for titles and descriptions of the elements of the press release.

Detailed descriptions of the components and strategies of all of these elements are below. You can download the actual release, in Word, so you can just cut and paste if you like.
